  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter, room temperature

  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups milk, room temperature Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple gel food coloring
